Google stiffs their own ChromeOS in tab search

Okay, so if you’re anything like me you have a ton of tabs open in Chrome. At any given point I must have dozens of open tabs in several Chrome instances. Now, let’s say I want to quickly go to a tab I remembered I opened. It makes sense that I should just make a quick search and have that tab open up, right? Nope.

From a related article in Lifehacker it tuns out that there’s the option to Ctrl+O in Windows or Ctrl+Cmd+O in Mac but even that only searches the tabs’ title and not the content. On my Chromebook (marketed by (the world’s greatest search engine company) I’ve yet to find any such option.

I tried Ctrl+O on my Windows 10 machine and it tried to open a file. Ctrl+0 (zero) did nothing,

On my Chromebook I installed the Search Plus Extension. Maybe it’s me being stupid, but I couldn’t get it to work.

Edit: I read that Vimium can enable one to search open tabs. I’ll be trying that soon and reporting on what I found.
